Hello! I am Kathryn.
I am happiest exploring the outdoors, finding innovative answers to my research questions, and sharing what I learn with other people. As a PhD Candidate in Entomology and Insect Science at The University of Arizona, I get to do a lot of what I love. My work focuses on native bees, climate change, data visualization, and outreach. I enjoy sharing beautifully explained science with others, which is why I combine research, data science, science illustration, and outreach.
